OTTAWA RESALE MARKET SIZZLES IN JUNE AS SUMMER HEATS UP
The June stats are out. Here are the 3 key details to keep in mind:
- 2162 residential properties were sold in June, compared with 1985 in June 2016, an increase of 8.9%. The five-year average for June sales is 1818.
- The average sale price of a residential-class property sold in June in the Ottawa area was $434,502 an increase of 8.8% over June 2016.
- The average sale price for a condominium-class property sold in June in the Ottawa area was $289,905 an increase of 9.4% over June 2016.
