 We were selling my father's house after he moved into a retirement home, so preparing a house that had been lived in for more than 40 years for sale was a huge job. Besides clearing everything out, the house needed touching up.

Theresa and her staff were so supportive. Theresa began with a full inventory of the house and ways to prepare it for sale. She had helpful ideas about everything from paint colours to garden clean up. She was always positive, creative, and energetic. I live outside of Ottawa so it was wonderful to have someone on site that I could trust to keep everything moving.

Theresa and her staff suggested locations to donate furniture and house wares and even picked up and delivered some themselves. Her recommended painter was exceptional....and very fairly priced. He did small repairs as well as painting. She and her staff suggested colours for repainting and areas where fixtures needed to be updated or changed. When the house went on the market it looked wonderful!

Theresa also spent a lot of time with the family reviewing previous house sales in the area and determining a price that was acceptable to all of us.Once the house sold, she stepped us through all the hoops expertly, including finding a wonderful lawyer who made the whole process very simple and easy.

I cannot recommend Theresa and her team more highly. They are professional, genuine and caring and work well together as a team.

We acquired Theresa as our real estate agent in February 2013. Theresa came highly recommended by a friend that had used her services in the past.We called Theresa and arranged a meeting with her, really to see if we would be compatible with her and to see if she thought that she could sell our house.The first time we met Theresa spent three hours with us! She was very competent, "on top of things", and seemed to really understand all the aspects of selling a home. Theresa has been in real estate for over thirty years and comes with a wealth of experience!

We sat down with her after a tour of our house and we talked about everything from finances to how to do some small things to improve our home. She was very honest, upfront and forthright. We knew exactly what needed to be done to sell our home. After Theresa left my husband and I both agreed that Theresa was going to be the best person for the job.

Theresa assured us that she would be able to sell our home. That was a big relief because a few years earlier our home was on the market for quite a long time and it didn't sell. We then decided to take it off the market. We also had been told that our home was not a home that would appeal to anyone and therefore would be a very difficult sell! Also, we were asked to list it at thirty thousand dollars less then the price that we listed it at with Theresa.

We did the small things that Theresa asked us to do. Then another part of her team; two very nice and experienced women came in and spent the morning putting the last minute touches on the house and staging it for pictures. They even brought things with them (pillows, pictures, vases, etc.) to help complete the house. Then took pictures of the inside and outside of our home. The pictures were put on a site and a virtual tour was created.

Theresa was working diligently with her team to ensure that she would be successful in selling our home. Theresa started the process rolling and then with the help of her team, they did everything possible to market and sell our home.

After the pictures were taken the home officially went up for sale. The amount of advertising was incredible. The virtual tour was very popular as was the MLS listing. We had three open houses within a month and the first week we had showings almost everyday. The open houses drew a lot of people through and the showings continued to be very consistent. My husband and I were very surprised by the amount of people that showed interest in our house.

We both feel that it was because of Theresa, her experience and the way she was able to expose our home and help us make it the best that it could be was the reason it sold in just short of a month!! Theresa also got the price that we were very comfortable with and her hard bargaining skills were of great advantage to us!

When dealing with the realtor and clients that bought our home she was so obviously competent, experienced, professional and had our best interest at heart. She was able to get us exactly what we wanted with the conditions, financing and closing date. We knew when we heard Theresa on the phone with the other realtor that she was going to bargain hard to meet our needs. And that she did!!

Theresa was also always available when we had questions and kept us informed on everything that was happening. She also had written a report and would of continued to do so to show us the statistics on our home (how many people came through, looked at the listing etc.) She was always "on top of things".

We couldn't be happier or more satisfied with outcome. Theresa sold our home in less then a month. She is very competent, upbeat, sensitive to our needs, professional, and her wealth of experience and hard work led to amazing results.

Another part of her team is a gentleman who will help you to purchase a new home. That service is invaluable! When your home that you've been living in for twenty year's is sold it is a bit scary to think of where you are going to go next. At the same time as our house was being sold the other realtor that is part of  team was showing us homes that we could potentially move into. He was very kind, patient and worked hard to meet our needs to find us a new home and a new start!

We consider ourselves blessed to have had Theresa as our realtor and we feel like she was the perfect person to sell our home!
