Bells Corners: A Great Place To Call Home

Hard to believe this was once a rural community surrounded by dairy farms. It is a very walkable area, with great access to the NCC and the Trans Canada Trails not to mention the variety of eateries and places to shop. From the Bohemian Kitchen; great for breakfast, coffee and lunch to Al’s Steakhouse, a long time favourite, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Some of the benefits of Bells Corners is all the amenities they have to offer; active local libraries, tennis courts, arenas, outdoor swimming pools and many area parks. Not to mention the active business association and community associations as well.

Why do I think this is an up and coming “hot hood?” It is walkable, you can head out to a local pub, your favourite national chain restaurants Local Heroes, East Side Mario’s, Cock N’ Bull Restaurant and many locally owned venues. Some of our favorites: Ishina, SukhothaiVera’s Burgers, and Cyrano’s  to name a few. All of your daily shopping can be done with 3 large grocery stores, an excellent butcher at The Butchery and an LCBO and Beer Store.

There is a variety of homes predominantly built in the 60’s, however there is also Westcliffe Estates that offer a variety of newer homes with a higher density.

The housing is affordable and you can see the change happening as the neighbourhood is slowly being discovered. The streets are airy with large trees that you would expect from a 60’s neighbourhood.

I believe it is a great place to call home and it’s close to the new DND.
