Ottawa Market Experiences Record-Setting Sales in June
The June stats are out. Here are the 3 key details to keep in mind:
- 1,985 residential properties were sold in June, compared with 1,691 in June 2015. June 2016 had the highest sales in the history of the Ottawa real estate market.
- The average sale price of a residential-class property sold in June was $399,382, with residential two-storey and bungalows having the highest concentration of buyers.
- Normally the number of sales dips from May to June, but this year they increased by 3.3 per cent.
