Ottawa property sales cool down along with January weather
The January stats are out. Here are the 3 key details to keep in mind:
- 601 residential properties were sold in January, a decrease of 4 per cent over January 2015.
- The average sale price of a residential-class property sold in January was $386,839, and the majority of Ottawa buyers continue to buy properties in the $300,000 to $400,000 price range, followed very closely by the $200,000 to $300,000 range.
- The average sale price has increased 4.6 per cent over January 2015.
